Join us for Canvolution weekend after-the-fact. We’ll be canning and putting up summer’s bounty here in BK. Hope you can make it to hang with preservers (both new and ol’ hats) including my fave Philadelphia peeps, Marisa from Food in Jars blog and Doris the Goat from Doris and Jilly Cook blog.
All levels of experience welcome, even people who’ve never seen it done before (oooh, aah, magic!)
When: Sunday, August 8th
Place: Kate’s house (Bed Stuy, Bklyn; off A/C train at Nostrand)
Cost: Your share of supplies/ingredients cost (probs about $15-20, maybe less if we get a smokin’ fruit deal, or cheerful PYO volunteers)
Scoop: There’ll be 10 slots (and a small deposit required) and they’ll go fast. Check back for info on the three (maybe four) recipes we’ll make together.
